Cifrely is a free set of bilingual calculators operated by AVOM Ventures LLC ("we", "us"). This page explains, in plain language, what data is and isn't collected when you use cifrely.com, and how affiliate links work. We wrote it to the GDPR standard so it applies wherever you are.

They are not legal, tax, immigration or financial advice. Always confirm with the relevant official authority or a qualified professional before acting.

The short version

No account, no sign-up, no login. We don't ask for your name, email or documents.
The numbers you type into a calculator are processed in your browser and are not sent to us or stored on our servers.
We use analytics only after you accept the cookie notice, to see which tools help people. You can decline, and change your mind anytime.
Some outbound links are affiliate links; we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Information we collect

Calculator inputs. Values you enter (income, dates, amounts, etc.) are used only to compute your result on your device. They are not transmitted to us, not linked to you, and not retained by us.

Analytics data (consent-based). If you accept the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect standard, aggregated usage data — pages viewed, approximate region (from IP, which Google truncates), device and browser type, and how you arrived. We use this only to improve the tools and understand demand. IP addresses are anonymized. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected.

Cookies & consent

On your first visit we show a notice with equal Accept and Reject choices. Analytics cookies load only if you accept. Essential technical storage needed for the site to function may be used regardless, in line with standard practice. You can withdraw or change consent at any time:

Affiliate links & disclosure

Cifrely is free and supported partly by affiliate partnerships and display advertising. Some outbound links to third-party services (for example certified translation, moving-quote comparison, or tax-filing software) are affiliate links: if you use them we may earn a commission, at no additional cost to you. We link to services because they fit the topic — never in exchange for changing a calculator's result or our editorial judgment. Affiliate links are marked with appropriate rel attributes.

Third parties we rely on

Google Analytics (analytics, consent-based) — see Google's Privacy Policy.
Netlify — hosting and content delivery; processes standard server request data (e.g., IP) to serve the site securely.
Affiliate networks — when you click an affiliate link, the partner or its network may set its own cookies under its own policy.

Your rights

Because we don't collect personal accounts or store your inputs, we hold very little about you. Where analytics data applies, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, contact us (below). You may also opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Data retention

Aggregated analytics data is retained for the standard Google Analytics period (up to 14 months) and then automatically deleted. We keep no personal case data.

Children

Cifrely is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this notice

We may update this page as the site evolves. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
