What does it cost to ship your things to another country?
Every mover site hides prices behind a quote form. Here are the honest 2026 ranges by corridor and home size — air, shared container, full container — shown instantly. Use them to sanity-check the quotes you'll get.

Methodology & data sources
The ranges combine published corridor data from mover marketplaces and freight indices — Sirelo's 2025-26 corridor pages (including the Spanish and Colombian editions for the Spain↔Colombia lanes), MoveHub's route studies, Mobbit's Mexico international-moving guide (April 2026) and Freightos air-freight benchmarks ($3-8/kg) — normalized to door-to-door household service. Where a corridor's published figure is freight-only or a composite estimate, the range is widened and the note says so; Bogotá routes carry an explicit inland-haul premium over Caribbean-port figures. We deliberately show ranges, not single numbers: on identical corridors, real quotes spread 2-3× with volume, access and season. Air is only shown for box-scale loads because air-freighting a furnished home is economically irrational on every corridor we track. Data is re-verified on a scheduled cycle; the stamp shows the last pass. Unlike quote-wall calculators, nothing here requires your email — the ranges are the product.

Frequently asked questions
Why do movers hide their prices?
Because quotes are leads — the industry sells your contact to multiple companies. That's also why you should treat our ranges as the sanity check: a quote way below range usually grows through "revisions" after your goods are loaded.
Ship or sell the furniture?
For 1-bedroom homes, selling usually wins: shared-container costs rival refurnishing locally, without the 4-8 week wait and customs risk. Run both numbers in our budget calculator.
What's LCL vs FCL?
LCL (less-than-container-load) means your goods share a container and you pay per cubic meter — right for ~8-12 m³. FCL gives you the whole 20ft box (~28 m³ usable) — right for 2-3 bedroom homes.
How long does sea shipping take?
4-8 weeks door-to-door on the corridors we track (US/MX/CO ↔ ES), plus customs variability. Air takes 1-2 weeks but only makes sense for box-scale loads.
