Methodology & data sources

The calculator converts your pay to monthly and applies the 2026 monthly ISR table from Anexo 8 of the Resolución Miscelánea Fiscal (DOF 28/12/2025): for your bracket, a fixed amount plus the percentage on the excess over the lower limit. It subtracts the 2026 employment subsidy of $535.65 MXN (15.02% of the monthly UMA of $3,566.22) when monthly income is $11,492.66 or below — a figure raised by the DOF decree of 31/12/2025 from the prior 11.82%. It then computes IMSS worker contributions on your contribution base salary (SBC = salary × 1.0493, the minimum integration factor after the "Vacaciones Dignas" reform), capped at 25 UMA: 2.375% of SBC plus 0.4% on the portion above 3 UMA. This models a worker with statutory minimum benefits; your actual payslip can vary with exempt income, higher benefits or deductions. Our Freshness Keeper checks these tables against the SAT, IMSS and DOF.

Tables verified as of July 17, 2026 against the SAT (Anexo 8 RMF 2026), DOF and IMSS · Estimate, not tax or labor advice.

Frequently asked questions

How is net salary calculated in Mexico?

Gross minus ISR (monthly table), minus IMSS worker contributions, plus the employment subsidy if you qualify. The calculator does it with the 2026 tables.

How much is the employment subsidy in 2026?

$535.65 MXN per month, only if your taxable monthly income is $11,492.66 or below. It rose versus prior years.

Why doesn't my net exactly match my payslip?

Your payslip may include exempt income, above-statutory benefits, or deductions like an Infonavit credit. This estimates a worker with statutory minimum benefits.

Does it include aguinaldo or severance?

No — this is your monthly salary. Aguinaldo, severance (finiquito) and vacation calculators are coming soon.
